The Soul Exchanger

Sitting in the deepest point of the darkest dreams, the Soul Exchanger welcomes the people so broken by the wakened realm that they choose to remain in the nightmare world. They believe they deserve to suffer. Humans can spend as much time as they like here in exchange for a part of their soul. While they must find their way out of the nightmare alone, the Soul Exchanger sometimes offers a helping hand. He once had a soul himself but lost all of it to the nightmare. Now he keeps a little bit of each visitor's soul safe until they are well again.
