The Night Elk

The Night Elk is a strange creature. It walks across the sleeping lands, but nobody really knows what it does. It is gentle and kind, allowing anyone to ride on its great horns. No one knows how long the Elk has been roaming the dreamworld - some say it is the manifestation of dreams itself. I met the Night Elk one year ago - for the first time since I was a child. To me, the Night Elk was a reminder of a world I had forgotten. A world of stars, giant beasts and infinite colours. The Night Elk did not say a word; I just sat on top of its horns, and eventually, it let me down as I was waking up. As I left, The Night Elk gave me the same look it had given me from when I was a child.
