Dragon's Canvas

“Who are you, young visitor?” inquired the old dragon god. The girl, a messenger from another realm, replied, “I seek aid; my realm needs your assistance.” Intrigued, the dragon questioned, “Why me? Though bored with my realm, why should I join you?” The girl, opening a portal, invited the old god to peer inside. He saw a star-filled realm devoid of starlight, blue skies but no twilight, an untouched spirit amidst hopelessness. “Your world lacks lustre,” the dragon observed. “I will come and bring colour to your realm. It’s about time I did something new,” declared the old god. “Come, let us paint your realm.”
