Non-exclusive licenses begin at £120.00 and exclusive licenses begin at £600.00 - please contact me at ahad@designbyahad.com to discuss rate and piece. Commissions are currently open, contact me via email to discuss rates and timeframe.
Commission Process and Prices 2026-27
Initial Discussion We define your concept, scope, and intended usage so the direction and requirements are clearly established.
Deposit A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking and begin production.
Work in Progress Updates Progress is shared at key stages, typically including sketches and development drafts.
Final Approval and Payment A low resolution proof is provided for approval. Final payment is required prior to delivery.
Delivery Final artwork is supplied in high resolution digital format upon completion.
Note For book covers and album artwork, the service includes illustration only. Typography, layout, and graphic design can be added as an additional service where required.

Each commission is priced according to detail, scope, complexity, and usage requirements.

Pricing for Personal and Independent Projects
Book covers, album artwork, posters, concept art, private commissions, bespoke illustration work etc.
Commissions start at a minimum of £500.00. Most projects range between £500.00 - £1,500.00 depending on detail.
I work with a wide range of clients and project scales. If your project falls outside this range, please get in touch to discuss requirements. Bespoke arrangements are considered on enquiry
Pricing Commercial Projects
For publishers, brands, record labels, game studios, advertising, and any work involving commercial licensing
Pricing starts from £1,200+ and is determined based on usage rights, deliverables, and project scope
Multi asset and ongoing commissions will qualify for adjusted rates depending on scale
Timelines:
Estimated turnaround 4 to 12 weeks. Rush delivery within 2 weeks may be available at an additional fee, subject to schedule availability. I work on multiple commissions at once.
Additional Services
Typography and graphic design including titles, logo design and layout integration ranges from £75.00 to £600.00 depending on complexity. For animation queries please contact me on email.
